We are a community based outreach ministry offering free assistance with food, clothing and household needs.  We serve western Craven and western Pamlico counties, from our outreach center in Bridgeton.  We are affiliated with Antioch church.

Our Vision Statement: To provide an anchor of hope in our community.

Our Mission Statement:  To show God’s love by striving to meet the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of others, in order to further His Kingdom.

We have “open doors” at our outreach center in Bridgeton each month, at which time community members may receive food and/or clothing items.  We also have an emergency telephone number people may use for emergent needs in between our “open door” times.  We are honored to be able to provide emergency assistance to families that have experienced natural disasters such as fires and floods.  In addition, we conduct the following community initiatives on an annual basis:  back-to-school supply drive, coat drive, providing snacks for local elementary school, assistance to multiple families with Christmas needs, blanket drive, Easter baskets for community members among other outreach and fellowship opportunities throughout the year.

We have recently experienced an explosion in the utilization of our services, this, coupled with our “donation based” budget has caused us to look to other organizations in the community for support. We know that God will provide for our community as needed, but we feel strongly, that to succeed in this undertaking, it will take the hearts and hands of many individuals. Ways you can help include:  monetary and food donations, sponsoring a food drive at your workplace or school, seeking corporate donations on our behalf.
